BANGALORE, July 2: The Karnataka High Court has dismissed a writ petition which questioned the government's authority in acquiring 196 acres of land in Devanahalli which had been purchased by private sectors for construction of resorts. The Court has however directed the government against relieving the owners of their land areas in the surrounding areas until the acquisition has been carried out as per the laws.
