CHENNAI, July 2: The Handloom Export Promotion Council has called upon the TN government to abolish the 2% ST on hank yarn in order to benefit small scale exporters. It has also demanded that the 8% sales on REPāim scrip to be removed so that exporters could avail of concessions.
