CHENNAI, July 26: A recent meeting of the vice-chancellors of the Madras University under the head of the Chancellor of the Governor, Fathima Beevi, has decided to modularise the examination system. This decision follows the increasing requests for re-valuation of answer sheets and the inability to manage the sheer magnititude of the body of students called for examinations. Under the proposed system, the university area will be divided into modules which will act independently regarding conduct of examinations.
