BUENOS AIRES, Aug 15: Former Argentine soccer internationals Diego Maradona and Claudio Caniggia this week renewed their partnership at first division side Boca Juniors.

But Caniggia's wife, ex-model Mariana Nannis, this time is laying down the rules about scoring: they can hug, but they can't kiss especially on the lips.

Maradona and Caniggia, who led Argentina to the 1990 World Cup final, raised more than a few eyebrows last year when they celebrated a goal for Boca with a long kiss on the lips.

The moment, captured on camera and published worldwide, became known in Argentina as the piquito, or the peck.

Maradona had pledged at the beginning of the season to kiss Caniggia every time he scored.

``All I ask him (Claudio) is that he doesn't make a fool of himself,'' Nannis said in an interview with the weekly gossip magazine Caras. ``It's immoral.

``That type of thing will never happen again in my family because my children deserve respect and it's no example to them. So I spoke to him about it. I don't expect it to happen again,'' she said.

Nannis, who often boasts about how her husband's career allows her to spend tens of thousands of dollars on Versace numbers, was speaking from a Miami hotel.

She has so far refused to accompany her husband in Buenos Aires, preferring Miami or Rome, where Caniggia once played.

Both players' relationship with Boca turned sour last year and they left the club. But Maradona, 36, began his latest comeback in July. He now receives $50,000 per appearance.

Caniggia, 29, also returned to the club this week after a year's absence. He will get $40,000 a game.

Both players' careers have been marred by bans for drug abuse. Between them they have been barred from playing for 43 months.
