Leyland remembered

Former Times of India hockey correspondent, Leyland D'Souza, who passed away on September 10, 1998 was remembered by fellow journalists and sportspersons at a condolence meeting held in the Wankhede Stadium media-conference room on Saturday evening. Speaking on the occasion Mr Sunder Rajan, the former Times of India editor said: ``He was a very good friend and a still better human being.''

Other to speak on the occassion were former boxer and now a referee, Kishan Narsee, journalists K Bhaskaran, SK Sham and former football player Adolf Colaco.
