Born in the south of Turkey in Antakya, Ziya Azazi has been a dancer for 20 years. Best known for his modern choreographies based on the whirling rituals of Sufi dervishes, he brings his show, Dervish in Progress, to the city for a performance at St Andrew's Auditorium, Bandra, on November 14. Classic Theatre
Based on the classic novel by J M Barrie, Akvarious Productions’ play Peter Pan follows the story of the young boy who can fly, never ages and spends his time exploring the island of Neverland. The play will be staged at Prithvi Theatre on November 16 as part of the Prithvi Theatre Festival.

Saint’s Day
A solo play by Shekhar Sen, Kabeer traces the life and times of the saint-philosopher and shows how he challenged deep-rooted social evils with a “modern” mindset 600 years ago. The two-hour play contains 45 songs, with Sen expertly tackling themes such as Kabeer’s marriage, his meeting with Sikandar Shah Lodhi and the influence of other saints on him.
