Srinagar : National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah Tuesday accused opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of getting “bags full of money” in Delhi during his tenure as chief minister to wipe out his party from Jammu and Kashmir.

“When I was the chief minister (1996-2002), PDP got moneybags in Delhi to wipe out National Conference. But we want to tell them that NC is not weak and even if you spend crores of rupees you cannot wipe us,” said Abdullah, who is also the Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy. He accused the PDP of trying to break the NC-Congress coalition and said that “the Muftis cannot fool people by showing green flags”.
