A Left Front legislature party delegation, led by the CPM, on Friday visited the house of a Trinamool leader who was killed in an alleged intra-party clash in May at Bally in Howrah district. The team demanded security for the family. Trinamool supporters staged a demonstration outside the dead leader’s residence alleging that CPM was indulging in “dirty politics”. Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, Surya Kanta Mishra, said Tapan Dutt was killed by his own party workers due to his participation in a movement against filling up of water bodies in the area.
