Five hurt in firing

Chandigarh : Five youths, including a district president of Youth Akali Dal (Barnala) were injured when unidentified persons opened fire at their car on the diving road of Sector 22 and Sector 23 on late Monday night. While trying to flee, their car met with an accident at the Light Point around 11 pm. “Five boys, who were visiting the city from Barnala, were trying to escape the bullets. As the driver lost control, the cat rammed into another at the sector 22-23 Light Point,” said a police officer. Two persons have been injured and were rushed to GMSH-16.
