Rizvi, who had won the title last year, had more cause for celebration when Faiyaz Khan was named the most promising boxer of the tournament.
Wilson College too, made their presence felt in the four-day tournament with three boxers winning gold and Sayed Shakeel bagging the best boxer of the tournament award.
Abhishek Yadav won the hearts of the large gathering. The Thakur College boxer was gracious in his defeat to the home favourite Faiyaz Khan for which the judges awarded him the best loser trophy.
Mansi Sakpal (Jhunjhunwala) was adjudged the best boxer in the women's section and Priyanka Mhatre (Vartak) took home the most promising boxer trophy.
