“Army has Unmanned Aerial Vehicles used for snooping on the enemy. My machine weighing less than a kg can fly in a small area and could be even used during natural calamities to get the exact location of people,” says Rohit. “Think of the situation at the Taj Hotel at Mumbai during 26/11 terrorist attack. The security forces did not know where the terrorists were holed up. You just let the machine fly and it will go inside and send the pictures to spot them,” the class X student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, NAL, Bangalore, adds.
He claims that he conceived the idea of the machine before it was shown in Aamir Khan starrer Three Idiots. He is planning to get it patented when he turns 18.
