Ahmedabad : In order to ensure transparency in execution of civic works, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to display details of its projects being implemented by it. Details of programmes like Suvarnim Jayanti Yojana will be displayed at all sites and in all zones with immediate effect. AMC’s engineering department has issued instructions and format of the details to displayed on all concerned project sites, sources in AMC said.
The details at project sites will have description of work, cost incurred, date of commencement of project, its completion date and contact details of contractor and engineer concerned. Contact details of AMC supervisor will also be mentioned on display. Anyone wanting to know about the project can contact the people involved in the project, sources said.
