Bulandshahr (UP) : Taking a leaf out of his election manifesto, SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav tried to lure the farmers with promises of providing them with loan waivers and affordable credit.

Addressing a poll rally, Yadav said if voted to power, his party will waive all farmer loans upto Rs 50,000 and provide them with cheap credit at an interest rate of 4 per cent.

He also promised to provide financial assistance of Rs 20,000 to the poor people apart from free treatment to them for diseases like cancer and heart ailments.

He further said unemployment allowance of Rs 1,000 will also be given to the youth.

Taking a dig at Chief Minister Mayawati, the SP leader termed the BSP government as the “most corrupt” ever since the country achieved independence.
