New Delhi, July 12: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday reviewed the progress of investigations into the 7/11 Mumbai blasts. The meeting was attended by senior officers from the Union Home Ministry and intelligence agencies.

Eight persons, including prime accused Muzamil and Faisal Sheikh, have been arrested for the blasts that left 186 dead and 817 injured. The Mumbai Police have chargesheeted 25 people. The designated trial court has issued non-bailable warrants against 15 absconders and red corner notices have been issued against two persons. There has been criticism about the police failure to put together all the pieces in the conspiracy, including the identity of bombers and the source of the RDX used.

The Prime Minister said those against whom cases had been registered and all those who were wanted in this case would be brought to justice. The Government would not rest till the guilty were punished, an official spokesperson said after the meeting.
