RANCHI:: Deputy Commissioner of Chatra district Puja Singhal collapsed suddenly while taking a stroll inside her official residence on Thursday morning. “She suddenly felt some pain on the left side of her waist, vomited and fell unconscious. She was rushed to the nearby hospital,” Chatra’s Deputy Development Commissioner Alois Lakra told The Indian Express. Chatra being a Naxal-infested district, a Naxal attack is not being ruled out behind her sudden illness. “It is possible that somebody from outside fired a poisonous arrow which hit her,” said a staff on condition of anonymity. However, Chatra SP Akhilesh Jha denied this. “This is just not possible,” he said.
