Patna, March 28 : The Bihar Government has recommended a CBI probe into the mysterious death of beautician Shah-naz Hussain's son Sameer Hussain. The recommendation was made after Shahnaz met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and demanded a probe by the Central agency.

Thritytwo-year-old Sameer died under mysterious circumstances on January 6. He fell from his father-in-law's third-floor flat in Patna. It was said that he might have committed suicide or died due to an accidental fall. Unconfirmed reports said Sameer, a musician who also was president of his mother's company, was severely depressed due to personal reasons.

On Tuesday, Shahnaz met Nitish and demanded a probe by the CBI into her son's death, refuting reports that her son was depressed and had committed suicide. "Sameer was normal and neither an alcoholic nor a drug addict", she said.

Wife Rabiya Hussain, who was away when Sameer died, has welcomed the CBI probe while pointing fingers towards her mother-in-law.
