Scarlett’s mother to meet Goa CM
PANAJI:: Fiona MacKeown, mother of slain British teenager Scarlett Eden Keeling, said on Saturday she would meet Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat and seek clarifications on why the CBI probe into her daughter’s death was being “delayed”. Scarlett was allegedly drugged, raped and left to die on a beach here in February. “I will meet (Goa) Chief Minister Digamber Kamat, Home Minister Ravi Naik and Director General of Police B S Brar to clear my doubts about the course of investigation and why there is delay in CBI investigation,” she told reporters. Fiona, who had gone to the UK with Scarlett’s body on March 30, arrived here on Saturday evening to follow up the investigation. Scarlett was found dead on Goa’s popular Anjuna beach on February 18.
