Agra: : Nine-year-old Manisha, a resident of Nagla Jassa Ward Number 5, was allegedly raped and killed by two labourers working at her neighbour’s under construction house. Her body was found abandoned at Bundu Katra on Sunday morning. Local residents resorted to chakka jam and blocked the Agra-Gwalior highway, demanding the arrest of the culprits who are absconding. The agitation ended only after SSP Mohit Agrawal assured that action would be taken against the duo. An FIR under Section 302 and 376 was lodged and the body was sent for postmortem examination.

According to reports, Manisha, daughter of Darab Singh, was lured with sweets and ice by two labourers — Ajay Singh, resident of Chitoura, and Vijay Singh, resident of Dabli — who were working at an adjacent house on Saturday night.
