Arch-rivals India, Pak to play tri-series in Bangladesh

Mumbai, May 5:: A week after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League, the country’s cricketers would embark on a short visit to Bangladesh for a triangular one-day series.

The ODIs would be contested among India, arch-rivals Pakistan and hosts Bangladesh between June 8 and 15, a media release from the Cricket Board said today.

The Indian squad is set to reach Dhaka on June 8 and would kick off its campaign on June 10 with a match against Pakistan at the Sher e Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

All the matches in the tournament would be held at the same venue from 1500 hrs to 2245 hrs (local time), the release added.

The tournament schedule is: June 8: Bangladesh v Pakistan June 10: India v Pakistan June 12: India v Bangladesh June 14: Final June 15: Reserve day.
