Indo-Pak dialogue: Dates for next round announced

New Delhi, May 11 : Dates for the next phase of the fourth round of the composite dialogue between India and Pakistan have been announced. The first of the series of talks under four heads will be on Tulbal Navigation Project.

The talks at the level of Water Resources Secretaries will be held in New Delhi from June 26 to 27. The Cultural Secretary level talks on promotion of friendly exchange in various fields will be held on June 28 and 29 in Islamabad.

The Home Secretary level talks on terrorism and drug trafficking will be held in New Delhi on June 3 and 4. The Commerce Secretary level talks on economic and commercial cooperation will be held in New Delhi from July 31 to August 1 and will be followed by the meeting of the joint-study group on August 2.

It may be recalled that Foreign Secretary talks were held on March 13-14, 2007 in Islamabad to initiate the fourth round of the Composite Dialogue.
