Dr Sumit Singh, Associate Professor, Neurology and in-charge of Headache Clinic, AIIMS, says:
There appears to be a problem with the blood circulation to the brain. It could be that for some seconds, the blood supply to the brain is hampered. This needs to be investigated. You should contact a neurologist and a cardiologist. Do not change posture suddenly, it should slow and deliberate.
I am 17 years old and get frequent headaches. The headaches last for long, almost for the whole day. Is this migraine?

Dr Singh says: Migraine attacks are usually on one side of the head. They are usually throbbing headaches lasting from four to 72 hours. They may be associated with nausea and patients usually feel better in silent surroundings with lights switched off. If the attacks are frequent then usually migraine prophylaxis is required. The usual triggers for migraine are sunlight, hunger, junk food, caffeinated, aerated drinks and stress. You should identify these triggers for your headaches and contact a neurologist for migraine prophylaxis.
