New Delhi, August 16: Hailing the breakthrough in busting the Terror module responsible for the Ahmedabad blasts, BJP prime ministerial candidate L K Advani said on Saturday: “This success shows what a Government determined to deal firmly with the menace of terrorism can achieve in a short time. It stands in stark contrast with the utter lack of clarity and will power that the UPA Government at the Centre has exhibited in handling the threat of terrorism.”

Advani, who spoke to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi earlier in the day, reiterated the need for a tough anti-terror law. “I demand that the UPA Government recommend immediate Presidential assent for the Gujarat Control of Organised Crime Act which has been pending with the Centre since June 2004. The UPA Government’s refusal to do so thus far has proved that it doggedly wants to pursue its policy of appeasement of terrorist elements in the country,” he said.

“This success proves that a tough hand and a firm resolve is a must to counter terrorism,” said BJP president Rajnath Singh.

BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley added that it was a “shameful day” for the UPA Government as three of its alliance partners — the Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Lok Janshakti Party — had supported the lifting of the ban on the SIMI.

Well Done, Modiji.Let us hope efficient and tough persons like Modi become chief minsiters of all states and centre and hope the voters see the great work being done by Modiji and his party and hope terror gets eliminated from indian soil forever. All those politicians and social activists and others who supported the terror organization SIMI needs to be charged for treason and anti-pople actions and punished accordingly for anti-national activities.
