Inspector General of Police (Bastar range) A N Upadhyaya said the incident took place in the morning when 43 CRPF personnel were on their way to Narayanpur. The rebels triggered a powerful blast near Cheribeda village, under Benur police station area, blowing up a jeep and killing six personnel who were in it.
