New Delhi: : Saying that judicial reforms figured right at the top of the BJP's charter on good governance, L K Advani on Saturday called for fast-track disposal of cases against politicians and civil servants. At a conference on "Governance and Politics" organised by the party, he said the BJP would explore the suggestion that there should be four zonal benches of the Supreme Court in India. He also announced the setting up of a committee headed by party general secretary Arun Jaitley to prepare an agenda for legal and judicial reforms.

BJP president Rajnath Singh accused the Congress of adopting a "divide and rule" policy. "Muslims are being cheated in the name of reservation... Muslims with a sound economic background would only be able to enjoy the benefits of reservation and the poor man would still not be able to enjoy its benefits," he said.
