With Union Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Raghuvansh Prasad announcing flood relief packages, how could Meira Kumar be left behind? The Union Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment has drawn up a plan to dispatch a group of experts from the National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped at Secunderabad to counsel the traumatised survivors. The problem, however, is the absence of logistics on the ground for mental health experts to put up camps, especially at a time when the entire Bihar administration is busy rescuing and providing food to the marooned.
