Weight-loss drugs may harm a developing brain

EmailA drug from a new class of weight-loss treatments was found to disrupt the wiring needed for brain development in young mice, raising concerns about using such medications in children. This was discovered when a team at MIT was trying to find out how the brain adapts and rewires itself through learned experiences.
