Jaipur, May 10:Harbhajan Singh can find a reassuring pat on a shoulder and more, after Shane Warne said he would happily talk to the crucified spinner, currently banned from the IPL, and paying the price for slapping his India team mate Sreesanth during Mumbai’s clash against Mohali.

“I don’t believe everything I read, I don’t know if Ricky (Ponting) has said what he is supposed to have said to the newspaper about Bhajji (being unmasked). But I’m ready to help Bhajji if he wants to talk about it, or in any other way,” Warne said.

“Everyone has issues — on and off the field. And sometimes you need to hit rock bottom before you strike back,” said the Australian leg-spinner, who knows a thing or two about being in the limelight for reasons other than cricket after a career sprinkled with controversies.

“He admitted to his mistake, which is a huge thing. And when he returns to play for India, it’ll be a different Bhajji,” Warne said.

Also admitting that he hadn’t grabbed the Australian captaincy chance that came his way, Warne added that he had no sleepless nights over missing out.

“I don’t think about it that way. I was lucky to play under Border, Taylor, Waugh and then Ponting, and I always play very hard for whichever side. My style is full-on attacking, and there are no half measures,” he said.
