This summer is not just about floral prints and plain whites. The eye-catching prints for this season are geometric designs. Though not all squares and circles, the prints are subtle and chic.
Designer Rahul Khanna says, “Geometric prints work well. It is not floral this season. The graphic prints with colours like white, grey, lime green and aqua are sure to give you a ‘very citrus’ effect.”

The cuts this season have a lot to say as well. For Khanna the dress is shorter above the knee. Not boxy but well-fitted with wide straps and a lot of square necks.
Ranna Gill’s Spring Summer collection also has a lot of different necklines and halter backs. Geometric prints also make a mark in her collection. The summer dresses in the collection are flowy and ultra - feminine. “It is a typical dress silhouette. Some of the dresses cut off at knee length. There is a lot of other interesting work like fastening, beads etc. that make it more vivid. You got to try on different straps. I love noodle straps. It is also fun experimenting with different shapes.Bright colours work best with the Indian skin tone.”
