New Delhi | Lucknow, August 22 : H T Sangliana: BJP MP representing Bangalore North says he “didn’t receive any directions” from the party brass for the trust vote; the former top cop wants to further his political career in Bangalore and may soon join the Congress.

Manorama Madhwaraj: BJP MP representing Udupi, who joined the party on the eve of 2004 Lok Sabha elections, was not too happy with the BJP; hopes to join the Congress.

Manjunath Kunnur: BJP MP from Dharwad South has a Congress background; said to be trying to get back into the Congress.

Brij bhushan Sharan Singh: BJP MP from Balrampur has been weaned away by the Samajwadi Party; was flaunted as a prize catch by the SP at a press conference in Delhi.

Somabhai Patel: BJP MP from Surendranagar had a running feud with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi; was already suspended by the party; the Congress is said to be looking at his rehabilitation process sympathetically.

D C Srikantappa: BJP MP representing Chikmagalur in the present House was suffering from throat cancer; passed away on August 4.

Chandrabhan Singh: BJP MP from Damoh was in the news after the trust vote when his house was attacked by BJP workers; has since joined Uma Bharti’s Bhartiya Janashakti Party.

Babubhai Katara: BJP MP from Dohad was suspended by the party after being caught in a case of human trafficking; is knocking the Congress doors, but the party is not too keen to induct him.

Harisingh Rathod: BJP MP from Yavatmal, once known as BJP general secretary Gopinath Munde’s confidant; was reported to be in talks with the Congress, but denied this when contacted. He belongs to the Banjara community.

Tukaram Renge Patil: Shiv Sena MP from Parbhani is being wooed by the Congress; he, however, candidly admits that he would join the party that offers him a ticket from Parbhani. The NCP has the seat under a partnership arrangement with the Congress.

P P Koya: JD(U) MP from Lakshadweep has been in touch with the NCP; he, however, claims that he is exploring legal means to reply to the Speaker’s...
