In a sad turn of events, Shiv Sena Supremo Bal Thackeray today died at around 03:33 pm after suffering from a prolonged illness at his residence 'Matoshree' at Bandra. Official announcement was made outside 'Matoshree', which was made by his doctor, Jaleel Parkar. Top Doctors from Lilavati Hospital were attending on him. The doctors treating the 86-year-old said he was on life support.
