Lawyers representing key accused in the Delhi gang rape case that stunned the nation and caused massive public outrage blamed police for manipulating and delaying evidence in the court, while claiming that their clients have been falsely implicated. The five accused for the gang rape attended the proceedings of the case at a court in New Delhi today. Talking to journalists outside the Saket District Court, counsel for one of the accused, Manohar Lal Sharma maintained that his client is a juvenile and deserves a medical test to verify his age. Meanwhile the defence counsel for two other accused, Vinay Sharma and Akshay Thakur said that his clients have been falsely implicated in the case.
