Family members of Mukesh, one of the five accused facing trial in the Delhi gangrape case today decided to change their legal counsel and appoint another lawyer, who is representing the key accused, Ram Singh. But Mukesh's family today appointed V. K. Anand in place of Manohar Lal Sharma, who is also the advocate for Ram Singh, the key accused in the case. Manohar Lal Sharma, who was formally the defense counsel for Mukesh had also filed a petition in the Supreme Court to transfer the case to a court in south India to get his client a fair hearing.
