'Girls should not wear black!'

In a recent bizarre diktat, women students in Bijnor have been barred from wearing black clothing and jeans at a function to be presided by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, not by some religious body, but by the district magistrate. Oddly enough, District Magistrate Sarika Mohan is a woman herself. Girl students have expressed displeasure over the diktat.
