Guru purub celebrated with fervour

The 544th anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of the Sikh religion, is being celebrated today across the country with religious fervour, dedication and devotion. Every year, thousands of Sikh devotees from across the world throng the most revered site, the Golden Temple and take holy dip on the occasion of 'Guru Nank Jayanti'. Scores of devotees also visited the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, which is considered to be most well known Sikh Gurdwara in New Delhi.
