Suspended BJP leader and eminent lawyer, Ram Jethmalani was defiant in his stance today, after being slapped with a show cause notice by his party. The show cause notice was issued to him for his alleged anti-party activities and airing in public adverse remarks on the party leadership including the chief, Nitin Gadkari. On Sunday, the BJP had resolved to suspend Jethmalani from the party with immediate effect for daring to act against Gadkari on the CBI chief's appointment issue, saying it was gross indiscipline. The BJP has issued a 10-day deadline for Jethmalani to reply to the notice. The eminent lawyer has however dismissed the deadline.
