Dismissing the possibility of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi becoming the next Prime Minister after Manmohan Singh, union Law Minister Ashwani Kumar said that Modi is not fit for PM's post due to Gujarat's overall dismal records. While interacting to mediapersons in New Delhi today Kumar said that chances of Modi to become the Prime Minister are steep low as the overall outlook of Gujarat has not been good under his leadership. Meanwhile in Ahmedabad, BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman said that the candidature of the Prime Minister will certainly be decided by the people of India. Echoing on similar lines, senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley said that the Prime Ministerial candidature will not be decided by either economists or by the Congress party.
