Supporters and admirers of Congress President Sonia Gandhi thronged outside her 10 Janpath residence in New Delhi to celebrate her 66th birthday. A large number of supporters gathered outside Gandhi's residence with bouquets and banners hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite leader. The Congress workers distributed sweets on the occasion amid beating of drums and bursting of crackers.
