Suryanelli case: Dharmarajan to serve life term

A Kottayam court today ordered Dharmarajan, the main convict in the Suryanelli gang-rape case allegedly involving Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien, to serve the life term handed to him in 2002 by a special court.Dharmarajan, who had been absconding for eight years, was arrested yesterday from Sagar in Karnataka. A special team was set up by the Kerala police recently to trace and arrest Dharmarajan, who appeared on a Malayalam TV channel alleging that Kurien was involved in the case.
