Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy slammed the central government's Setusamudram project for which the Ram Setu would be ruptured, dubbing it as 'illegal' and 'arbitrary'. Talking to reporters in New Delhi on Monday, Swamy strongly opposed the project. Swamy added that cutting of the Ram Setu for the canal project would be a violation of section 295 of the Indian Penal Court (malicious of the religious sentiments of the citizen irrespective of any class).
