'One Billion Rising' campaign

Hundreds of youth across India led and took part in dance rallies held as part of One Billion Rising campaign against women crimes in the national capital. Despite Valentine's Day celebrations in New Delhi, a significant number of locals equally comprising of men and women gathered at the historic Jantar Mantar and performed dances to spread awareness against gender discrimination and sexual abuse. Apart from raising slogans and displaying banners, the awareness was relayed to the society through dances and songs. The global campaign for women's rights and safety under the banner of 'One Billion Rising' received an overwhelming response in India's central and southern states too.
