Adah Sharma, known for her role in The Kerala Story, has addressed the rumours surrounding her supposed purchase of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s residence at Mont Blanc Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. While interacting with the media in Mumbai, Adah clarified that she hasn’t finalised any decision regarding the matter.
Reports had been circulating that Adah was considering buying the same flat where Sushant Singh Rajput lived until his unfortunate passing in 2020. Addressing the photographers, Adah said, “Phele jo bhi hai woh first mein aapko bataungi. Jabhi jo hai, I promise, aap logo ka mooh main meetha karunga, agar kuch hai toh (if anything gets finalised I will tell you first. I will bring sweets if there is something).” The video was shared by Viral Bhayani on his Instagram.
Previously, Sushant had shared a glimpse of his personal space in an Asian Paints video, offering fans a tour of the same flat. In the video, the late actor showcased the unique decor and reflective artefacts that adorned his home, giving insight into his varied interests.
After Sushant was found dead in the two-storey house on June 14, 2020, finding tenants for the house became a challenge. Rafique Merchant, a Mumbai-based real estate broker, disclosed in an earlier interview with Bollywood Hungama that it took three years to secure tenants for the property after the actor’s death. The initial reluctance was attributed to concerns stemming from the actor’s passing. Gradually, more people showed interest in the house.
Coming to Adah, the actor played the lead role in one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, The Kerala Story. According industry tracker Schnilk, the film’s total collection in India stands at Rs 241.74 crore.
