Iran digs graves for US troops

The deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guard,Gen Hossein Kanani Moghadam,said graves for any attacking US troops have been dug in Irans southwestern Khuzestan province,where Iran buried Iraqi soldiers killed during the 1980-88 war between the Islamic republic and Iraqi leader Saddam Husseins regime.

The mass graves that used to be for burying Saddams soldiers have now been prepared again for US soldiers,and this is the reason for digging this big number of graves, Moghadam said,according to Fars news agency.

Moghadam,however,said American troops would likely not be able to set foot on Iranian soil,repeating warnings that Iran will retaliate against US bases in the Gulf if there is an attack on Iran.

The US and Israel have both said they do not rule out a military strike on Iran to prevent it getting a nuclear weapon.
