Asin to romance Abhishek Bachchan in Mere Apne

Asin and Abhishek Bachchan were seen as siblings in <i>Bol Bachchan</i>.

Bollywood actress Asin has been finalised to play the female lead opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Bhushan Kumar’s tentatively titled film Mere Apne.

Sources confirm that Asin,who was Abhishek Bachchan’s sibling in Bol Bachchan,will be seen in an ‘important dramatic role’.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has been signed to play Abhishek Bachchan’s father.

The film will be directed by Umesh Shukla,whose debut work OMG! Oh My God,on ritualistic religiosity created quite a stir across the country.

This time again Umesh tackles a thorny issue.
