Cold wave sweeps Gujarat again,mercury dips to 2.6 degrees in Kutch

A cold wave has gripped the state yet again,with Naliya in Kutch recording a minimum of 2.6 degrees Celsius.

A cold wave has gripped the state yet again,with Naliya in Kutch recording a minimum of 2.6 degrees Celsius. Ahmedabad city recorded a minimum of 6.6 degrees Celsius on Monday,the lowest so far in the season. The minimum in Gandhinagar was recorded at 7 degrees C.

Most parts of north Gujarat,Kutch and Saurashtra continued to reel under the cold wave,while the weather forecast predicts cold wave conditions for a day more.

For Ahmedabad city,the Met Department has forecast a minimum temperature of 8 degrees C on Tuesday.
