Analysts said apart sluggish domestic demand,a weak trend in the global markets amid worries about Chinese demand,mainly kept pressure on copper futures here. Globally,copper for three-month delivery fell by 0.40 per cent to USD 8,099 per tonne on the London Metal Exchange,while at Shanghai Futures Exchange,the metal for most-active January contract fell by 0.90 per cent to 58,450 yuan (USD 9,300) per tonne.
