Actress Shilpa Shetty has rubbished reports which claimed that she is set to tie the knot with Raj Kundra.

Actress Shilpa Shetty has rubbished reports which claimed that she is set to tie the knot with her London based fiance Raj Kundra in December this year, adding that she is “sick and tired” of the rumours.

The reports were based on an application filed before a court, where the Bollywood beauty’s father Surendra Shetty had requested the return of his passport so that he could attend the wedding in Britain this December.

“My marriage plans are doing the rounds yet again for the nth time. I am sick and tired of people calling me to clarify after they’ve put it as breaking news. The details of the reasons given to procure my dad’s passport were revealed,I don’t even think it’s legal to give out personal info,” an irate Shetty wrote on her blog.

The 34-year-old actress who got engaged to the NRI millionaire in March this year, said that she will be happy to make the announcement herself when the date is fixed, while hinting that she may tie the knot in 2010.

“I’ve said before I will make an official announcement on this site like I always do,the day my parents decide on my marriage date and I promise the press will have at least a month to celebrate the announcement!

“So to set the record straight. No I am not getting married this year, yes I am looking at next year, but date not decided,” wrote Shetty.

The actress who became an internationally recognized face after her stint in the British reality TV show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2007,also spoke out against the treatment meted out to her father by the media.

“My poor dad is already having a tough time every time he has to travel abroad and has to apply for his passport, and as always….To top it all to be hounded by journalists when he went to visit the temple made it worse. My dad’s 67 and aging, please let the poor man live in peace and dignity,it’s annoying,” wrote Shetty.

Shetty and Kundra may not be getting hitched any time soon but the couple have formed a successful business partnership.

Their business empire includes a 10 million pounds stake in the Rajasthan Royals Twenty20 cricket team and a recently acquired food company.
