Modi to felicitate Tendulkar

Chief Minister Narendra Modi will felicitate Sachin Tendulkar at the start of the first Test match between India and Sri Lanka for completing 20 years in international cricket. “Sachin will be presented a memento by Modi,who is also the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) president,before the start of the first day’s play at the Sardar Patel Stadium on Monday,” said association Secretary Rajesh Patel on Friday. The batsman will be felicitated on behalf of the Gujarat government,Patel said. Sachin made his international debut in a Test series against Pakistan on November 15,1989.
