Priyadarshan to make Malamaal Weekly sequel
Priyadarshan is all set to make a sequel to his 'Malamaal Weekly' with producers Percept Picture Company.
Filmmaker Priyadarshan is all set to make a sequel to his 2006 release ‘Malamaal Weekly’ with producers Percept Picture Company (PPC).
This is the first time that he will be making a sequel to any film,which will go on the floors soon with the same starcast,sources said.
The sequel is part of a three-film deal he has signed with PPC. The other two being– ‘AIDS’ and ‘Grrr’.
Earlier,apart from ‘Malamaal…’,the acclaimed director has made ‘Kanchivaram’,a national award winning Tamil film,with the production house.
He has also completed the filming of their latest collaboration ‘Bumm Bumm Bole’ which stars Darsheel Safary,Atul Kulkarni and Rituparna Sen Gupta,and set for a May release.
