Sukhbir jibe to Capt: If money matters,Ambanis will win all polls

Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh had claimed money power of the Akalis helped them win Assembly polls.

TAKING a dig at state Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh’s claim that money power of the Akalis had helped the ruling alliance win the Assembly polls,Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday said that if money power was the only criteria to win polls, then the Ambanis will win all elections.

“It is just frustration speaking on part of the Congress. They had carried out negative and vindictive propaganda, which the people did not like and they lost. Also, the Congress had no agenda this time in the polls,” he told mediapersons after the first day of the Assembly session.

Claiming that the SAD-BJP combine’s main focus will be development,Sukhbir said: “Our main focus will be overall development of the state in all fields. One will get to see this in the next two years,as we have already formulated a plan to achieve the goal. This time, the speed of development will be 10 times more than our previous tenure.’’
